This Simusolar Privacy policy (“the policy”) gives effect to the constitutional and legal right to privacy and to safeguard individual privacy and protect personal data by establishing mechanisms in which individual data will be collected and processed. The policy intends to provide for conditions and manner in which personal data should be processed parallel with national laws and international standards.

The policy will help you understand what information will be collected by Simusolar, how Simusolar intends to use it. Simusolar has built the Simusolar App as a free app. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. If you choose to use our service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with the policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in the Policy.

Information Collection

For a better experience while using Simusolar Service, Simusolar may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including your name, phone number, contacts, location, and pictures. This information is collected to provide you with the best services as well as to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

You have the right to choose whether to provide this information. However, in most cases, if you do not provide such information, we might not be able to provide corresponding services to you, or we may be unable to respond to a problem you encounter. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in the policy. The information include:

• Location

  To connect and manage your IoT device, we may collect your location information and share this information for the purpose of locating you and other compatible devices.

• Personal info

  This information is required by us for application authorization. Such information includes name and phone number.

• Photos

  To register your device’s information, we might require you to take a photo of your product/asset so we can acquire information such as the product device ID and its data.

• Contacts

  To share your device with a collaborator (supervisor, employee, relative, etc.) so they can manage them, with your consent, you will share with us the name and the phone number of that contact.

• Device Information

  We collect the Android device ID and phone’s manufacturer name for the solely purpose of better services and prevent fraudulent acts.

• Messages

  We collect messages sent in the last three days to determine the PayG token sent for entry automation to your AirLink asset.

Children’s Privacy

This Service do not address anyone under the age of 13 years. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 years. In the case we discover that a child under 13 years has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Use of Personal Data

Simusolar may use your Personal Data for among others the following purposes:

1. To identify you from time to time, as required, and to validate your use of the Services,
2. To provide you with the Services and the display of customized content, and targeted advertising both on our apps/websites and on other apps/websites that we advertise through,
3. To communicate with the Software and Services and for resolving customer service issues,
4. To determine when you link from our app ⁄ Software to one of our partner apps, so that we can monitor the level of traffic that we generate for our partner apps,
5. To ensure the technical functioning of all our products and services,

7. To comply with laws, requests from a government bodies or courts, or to respond to litigation,
8. To enable us to use a third party to perform surveys measuring your experiences and use of our services,
9. To conduct internal auditing, data analysis, and research to improve our products and services.
10. To share your Personal Data with Simusolar’s affiliates and group companies for any of the foregoing purposes, which affiliates may also combine your Personal Data with other information in this regard.

Simusolar may also encrypt and ⁄ or aggregate your data with other users’ data to create statistics about the general use of the service, which helps us to develop new products and services. You understand that we may also share this aggregated data with our business partners and third-party advertisers.

You sharing data with third parties

Third parties (such as companies who advertise through our apps) may require you to provide your personal data in order to access their products, advertisements and offers. If you visit or register for a third-party product, advertisement or offer, we may pass some data about your device to that third party (e.g. your tag history and country of registration) so that they can send you offers. However, we will not pass your email address or other contact details to these third parties without your permission.

If you do not want third parties to be able to access or use your personal data, you should not register for, click on or use the applicable third-party application or product.

Simusolar sharing data with third parties

Simusolar may provide your Personal Data or any portion of it to Simusolar’s strategic partners that work with Simusolar to provide products and services, or that help Simusolar market its products and services to customers. Your Personal Data will only be shared by Simusolar to provide or improve our products, services and advertising and not for marketing purposes of such third parties. Simusolar uses cookies and beacons to assist in delivering the service and to provide a positive and personalized user experience. It is the User’s responsibility to protect the security of their login information. Simusolar’s servers are located in secure server environments. Firewalls and other advanced security technologies are employed to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data.

Choice

The Software ⁄ Service may allow you to choose the manner of and the extent to which you wish to disclose the Personal Data. You may also be allowed to disable some of the features that require sharing of Personal Data.
